Heart of a Southern Woman

A snapshot of life one blog post at a time.

Where has this blog and blogger been?!

Hi my wonderful friends and family! I am so thrilled to be writing a blog post again! It has been almost two months since I’ve done so! I had to leave my other host site for several reasons. The worst one was that i began to be bombarded by truly filthy, vulgar comments which I was not able to block . It was a mess just dealing with them repeatedly! If they wished to ruin someones’ avocation well, they accomplished their goal, at least for a bit. But here I am, back strong as ever! I’ll be announcing my new address and hopefully you’ll find me and sign up to receive my blog by email or become a follower so I can pretend that I’m very popular! LOL

So far, I truly love being with WordPress as my hosting site! There are a lot of great blogs here also, take the time to look around. I am so happy to be back, let me know what you ‘d like for me to discuss or write about and I’ll try to accommodate. Otherwise, as you know, its gardening, genealogy, and family and community! I love it! Hope to hear from you how you like my new site.

Old enough to enjoy life, I am a Red Hatter, grandmother, gardener, and amateur genealogist. I am a retired clinical psychologist, master's level, who is disabled with heart disease, but having fun with family and friends. Married over 40 years, I have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. I have learned that grandchildren provide a joy one never knew existed---writing feeds my soul, gardening is therapy, and genealogy research makes me feel like a detective!
